Leadership Workshop
This workshop provides leaders of youth sport organizations and schools with tools they can use to shape their “organizational culture.” Leaders explore a step-by-step Roadmap to Excellence that supports a sports culture that Honors the Game. Leaders get an overview of the training their coaches receive to become “double-goal” coaches (coaches who want to both win AND develop the character of their players) and they get a brief overview of the Positive Coach Mental Model, which includes principles such as Honoring the Game and Filling Athletes’ Emotional Tanks. Topics such as coach recruitment, a coach job description, a coach evaluation system, parent pledges, and how to intervene when the culture begins to degrade are also covered.

Double-Goal Coach Workshop
This workshop provides coaches of all sports with tools they can use to become “double-goal” coaches (coaches who want to both win AND develop the character of their players). The importance of a “players first” attitude figures heavily in this workshop, as do the messages put forth in the Positive Coach Mental Model, such as Honoring the Game and Filling Athletes’ Emotional Tanks.

Sports Parent Workshop
This workshop explores the three stages of talent development and allows parents to share their ideas about what they want their children to get out of youth sports. Parents gain insight into the training the coaches are receiving to become “double-goal” coaches (coaches who want to both win AND develop the character of their players). The Positive Coach Mental Model, which includes topics such as Honoring the Game and Filling Athletes” Emotional Tanks are discussed. Empowering Conversations (great after a tough loss) and building a Coach/Parent Partnership are also featured.
